CTRL Disrupt is growing. We're looking for people who want to do deep, meaningful work in security and risk management — alongside colleagues who care about getting it right.

This isn't a typical consultancy job.

At most consultancies, you write reports. At CTRL Disrupt, you build and run security and risk functions for real organisations. You don't advise from the outside — you embed, take ownership, and see the impact of your work over time.

We're building something that doesn't exist yet in the Dutch market: a dedicated security and risk management firm focused on program ownership — the governance, strategy, and compliance layer that makes the difference between organisations that are genuinely secure and those that just have the paperwork.

You won't spend your weeks filling in compliance checklists. You'll be designing governance frameworks, managing risk programs, advising boards, building security architectures, navigating regulations like NIS2 and the EU AI Act, and helping organisations become genuinely more resilient.

Depending on the role, we might work through a case or discuss a scenario. This isn't about testing you — it's about seeing how we think together.

If it's right for both of us, we move forward. If it's not, we'll tell you honestly and respectfully. The whole process typically takes two to three weeks.

Before you start, we conduct a thorough background screening. We help organisations manage risk — so we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Pre-employment screening

We advise organisations on security and risk — so we hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity and trustworthiness. Every new colleague goes through a comprehensive screening before joining. This is standard practice in our industry and something we see as a mark of professionalism, not a hurdle.

The checks listed here are our baseline. Depending on the role and the requirements of the clients you'll be working with, additional screening may apply. We'll always be transparent about what's involved.
